Message	thought is that by using a larger aftermarket cooler, a restrictor probably is not needed because the oil will spend a longer time in the cooler due to a longer cooler pipe track. Assuming the above statement holds true, by removing the restrictor, you should be able to increase flow through the oil cooler and benefit from more oil passing through the cooler faster. Right?
